Angelica Chavarro Franco has explored the relationship between body, mind, and spirit in her art, focusing on mindfulness, thought, silence, and meditation. Her work creates sensory experiences that highlight the unseen through contemplation, promoting spirituality. Angelica's process begins with meditations or chance encounters, blending rational technique with spiritual sensitivity. She uses painting, drawing, installation, and In Situ interventions to create dialogues between fabrics, pigments, texts, and textures.
AVAILABLE ARTWORKS BY ANGELICA CHAVARRO FRANCO
PAISAJES DEL PENSAMIENTO
About the PAISAJES DEL PENSAMIENTO series: The Landscapes of Thought project is inspired by the impermanent nature of all things. Observing the continuous transformation of the environment, of time, of thought, is one of the most profound contemplative practices. In this sense, she seeks to plastically materialize the energetic atmosphere of the meditative mental space and thus induce states of contemplation and introspection through her artworks.
INTENCIONES DEL SILENCIO
About the INTENCIONES DEL SILENCIO series: Plastically materializing the energetic atmosphere typical of the meditative mental space and thereby inducing states of contemplation and introspection has been the purpose of the works produced under the name Intentions of Silence.
SAGRADA DUALIDAD
About the SAGRADA DUALIDAD series: The works produced under the name Sacred Duality are inspired by recognizing the impermanent nature of all things and being aware that nothing is static. Appreciating that continuous transformation is inherent to evolution and contemplating that impermanence is one of the most profound contemplative practices.
