BACCHANALIA  I & WEB BODY PROJECT

CHRISTIAN CURIEL     JUAN CARLOS ZALDIVAR

28 NOV 2015 – 28 JAN 2016

The dual exhibition "BACCHANALIA I & WEB BODY PROJECT" marks a prominent partnership between the contemporary art gallery The Art Design Project and Miami's private members' club Soho Beach House. Curated by Juan Carlos Arcila-Duque, this strategic collaboration launched alongside Art Basel Miami Beach, positioning itself as an essential gathering point for the international and local art-collecting circuit during the vibrant art fair season.

Merging two conceptually independent visual narratives, the gallery exhibition explored the boundaries of painting, photography, and multimedia. The presentation counterbalanced the enigmatic, figurative paintings of Cuban-American artist Christian Curiel—which delve into youth and shared rituals—with Juan Carlos Zaldívar’s pioneering Web Body Project, a photographic investigation into identity and physical connection within a digital landscape. This curated contemporary art collection offers a sophisticated dialogue between nostalgia and modernity, making it a compelling destination for enthusiasts looking to buy art online and acquire impactful original artwork.
