Part of Dora Franco’s critically acclaimed From The Bodegones series, this unique physical creation treats the single sheet of premium paper as an analytical laboratory for material and historical dynamics. The pictorial interpretation is based on a research project by famous chef Juan Carlos Franco regarding old recipes from different historical periods, where the photographer recreated images directly inspired by classical paintings from masters such as Leonardo da Vinci and Albrecht Dürer. The vertical arrangement tracks an intense, deeply meditative graphic rhythm measuring a standard limited format, isolating the vibrant orange skins of the citrus fruits juxtaposed against a dark clay bowl and an absorbing dark environmental void.

The still life photography are a pictorial interpretation based on a research project of the famous chef Juan Carlos Franco, on old food recipes of different periods in history. The photographer recreated the images inspired by paintings and images from these eras, also finding inspiration from artists such as Leonardo DA Vinci, Albrecht Dürer, and others.
