In Blanco Perfecto, James Bonachea constructs an almost scientific image from an organic form suspended against a white field. The irregular surface of the central element contrasts with the meticulous repetition of arrows surrounding it, creating tension between matter, direction, and order. The composition simultaneously recalls an organism, an archaeological object, and an imagined diagram. This contemporary painting transforms recognizable elements into an ambiguous image, where graphic precision and scale shift our perception of what is natural and what is constructed.
 
The theory of Heaven is a novelty that Plato introduced to philosophy. Inspired by this concept, the artist proposes a series of works where I imagine and recreate possible worlds only existing in ideas and materialized through art as an ideal means to fable and materialize dissimilar visions of a Platonic space.
