Neerja Chandna Peters enjoys achieving fluid harmony through the play of lines, their symmetrical synchronicity and rhythmic interplay, manipulating tones, saturation, and values, thus creating subtle optical movement with their variable refrangibility. In her compositions, lines and light are not merely aesthetic choices but act as conduits leading the viewer to a space of stillness and contemplation. Over time, she has come to understand that clarity often lies in reduction. A single color or the movement of a line can evoke a profound resonance when approached with intention. This practice focuses as much on the process as the result. It is about finding balance, not only on the canvas, but within. The act of creating becomes a reflection of this alignment, a moment when the finite touches the infinite, and the work itself becomes an offering.
