The New Delhi-based physician and artist coordinates a striking color matrix of deep crimson, vibrant orange, golden ochre, and calm blue shades against structural voids, successfully transforming a clean technical studio execution into an undeniable architectural gravity that embodies divine grace and a state of complete meditative absorption.
The movement of optics silhouetted and contoured by straight lines and bare flat tints in their formless purity, for me embodies the Divine grace and luminous energy that the soul of a seeker acquires in this process of self gathering and spiritual realisation or discovery, a ‘journey within’ that accompanies this abstract creation of visual and rhythmic poetry reverberating and vibrating in directions to and from the center. Samadhi is a state of meditative absorption into a state of loss of separateness from its Ultimate essence and reality.

New Delhi based Neerja Chandna Peters, is a physician who has been practicing abstraction for fifteen years. Her distinctive voice in geometric abstraction has been researched and cited in journals. She has had four solo exhibitions including one in the New England Regional Art Museum, Armidale in Australia, two in Portland Oregon, USA and in Bikaner House New Delhi. She has been awarded and selected in international biennales, exhibitions and projects with museums and her work is part of public and private collections including museums collections.
