Through painting and sculpture, Gregory Robin conveys the feeling of being present in a living, biodiverse ecosystem. He uses colors, anthropomorphic forms and the inner workings of living species. Robins' land art practice encompasses the exploration of ancient earthworks, ecosystems, biodiversity, microclimates, biology, permanent agriculture (also known as permaculture), geology and its intrinsic value to the species that inhabit it. The artist's goal is to create a living installation, establishing a connection with the natural world.
