The Art Design Project Art Gallery is pleased to announce its virtual exhibition:

URBAN ABSTRACT COLOR

ANTONIO CASTAÑEDA    ALEJANDRA QUINTANILLA

04 FEB 2020 – 27 JUN 2020

Immerse yourself in a vibrant dialogue between structured urban heritage and fluid visual intuition in this compelling two-artist showcase, seamlessly weaving together architectural photography and abstract painting. Moving past conventional, documentary cityscapes, this energetic virtual viewing room exhibition frames regional architecture as a canvas of collective memory and brilliant local color. The layout shifts dynamically across the space, balancing a striking six-panel lineup of soft, floating biomorphic shapes with high-contrast, gestural abstract canvases that play with dense blocks of primary tones and deep midnight blues. The exhibition walls proudly feature two monumental, panoramic photo-collages capturing rows of historic, single-story colonial and neoclassical building facades. These extended streetscapes pulse with an extraordinary rhythmic sequence of sun-baked crimsons, vivid teals, canary yellows, and bright cerulean blues, breathing a contemporary, graphic life into traditional coastal architecture.

Every singular original artwork and limited-edition photograph in this exhibition delivers a powerful visual rhythm and lasting emotional impact, underscoring the deep creative passion of our represented artists. Engage with this masterful harmony of color and form by wandering through our interactive virtual viewing room exhibition.
