The Art Design Project Art Gallery in collaboration with the a-d gallery pleased to announce the exhibition:

HELMUT NEWTON

2001

The Helmut Newton exhibition opened in 2001, curated by Juan Carlos Arcila-Duque from the a-d gallery, located in the Miami Design District. Proudly presented in association with the prestigious Camera Work Berlin gallery, this showcase offered the public an exclusive opportunity to explore the influential black-and-white portfolio of the revolutionary German-Australian photographer. The showcase compiled iconic images that encapsulate Newton's provocative visual language, known for its bold approach to empowerment, fashion, and nudity. By running alongside the unveiling of cutting-edge furniture by India Mahdavi and S. Russell Groves, the exhibition masterfully merged high-fashion photography with contemporary design within Miami's vibrant art scene.
