Part of Ricky Cohete’s Cerros series, this creation documents elemental friction, treating the black-and-white environment as an analytical space for physical dynamics. Cohete coordinates an intense graphic rhythm through a tight crop where silhouettes are captured intertwined. By utilizing heavy classical shadows, the composition mimics the rugged ridges and peaks of natural landscapes, effectively transforming the subjects into metaphorical relief maps.
In this series of nude photography the artist documents how in the roar of the hills, these two bodies intertwine and connect with each other, forming mountains of desire.
