The commanding dual installation stands as a definitive milestone showcasing the formal sophistication and spiritual framework of ALMO’s acclaimed The Golden Ex-voto Series. This exceptional modern diptych art paintings set intentionally isolates the visual plane, deploying a heavy-profile 450 g fine art paper substrate as a minimalist void to float two highly structured, textured metallic gold acrylic motifs. The composition features a complex, linear arrangement of multiple human profile countenances seamlessly woven together by fluid, branch-like organic arms across both twin panels, referencing classical archetypes, deep dreams, and ancestral offering symbols. ALMO masterfully translates his transcontinental memories and nomadic displacement into a timeless, sacred visual artifact where every metallic brushstroke guards a universal human mark.
Almo wonders about his identity, the countries he has lived in, his daily routine and how he creates himself. An outsider who has made the world his home, skin, and citizenship, and through his artwork, he safeguards it in an attempt to explore the mysteries that pass through. Whether they are symbols, dreams or marks of the life of each of us.
That figurative portrait that embodies the sophisticated ethos of The Art Design Project. This piece seamlessly blends geometric precision with an expressive palette, inviting you to explore its depth and nuances.
