Etem's pairing explores fluid condition between virtual and real through comparison: two different organic forms (varying colors, shapes) in atmospheric backgrounds demonstrating how screen time experiences yield diverse visual outcomes when resignified as paintings. The works function as meeting places between atoms and bits across two panels—each painting appropriating net content differently yet both participating in same investigation of how digital browsing (maps, museums, feeds) becomes source for traditional medium. Paired format references digital experience: viewing multiple images simultaneously like grid interface, navigating between different virtual spaces, accumulating screen time across varied content. Untitled V and II materializes contemporary daily existence mediated by technologies: paired paintings suggesting that virtual-real relationship isn't singular but multiple, fluid condition operating across diverse encounters where bits continuously transform into atoms through artistic resignification.

In this project, exploring the fluid condition between the virtual and real world, the artist seek to materialize my experiences in digital environments - whether browsing through Google Maps or in the feed of an art museum - generating images as a meeting place between the world of atoms and that of bits*
