This compelling contemporary abstract metal painting showcases the brilliant structural intuition and rich material depth of artist Fanny Finkelman Szyller. The artwork tracks a profound process-driven narrative where the artist finds inspiration in the exploration of various discarded materials. The horizontal layout anchors a powerful perspective structured around a bold dual environment, balancing a smooth, reflective silver-gray polished metal top zone resembling a cloudy sky against a highly tactile lower band filled with dark ochre, earthy brown, and shimmering gold dust oxide matrices that rise effortlessly across the plate.
The artist finds inspiration in the exploration of various discarded materials, transforming them into three-dimensional sculptures full of transparency and life. She uses small pieces of metal intervened with acids, color pigments and gold dust, creating beautiful landscapes where each element is essential in the final form of her works.
