Immaculate presents immaculate figure photography where subject portrayed as pure untouched fantasy character—"immaculate" suggesting virginal perfection, spiritual purity, beings untouched by worldly corruption within Bon's dreamscape. This color work uses subject as personal doll embodying inherited cultural fantasies about purity: perhaps medieval saint, angelic being, or fairy tale innocent taking physical form through meticulous costume and staging. The photography fuses surrealism (impossible purity materialized), expressionism (spiritual intensity), hyperrealism (precise costume detail), representing dreams from past (religious/fairy tale purity concepts) meeting present photographic expression. Immaculate demonstrates Bon's method of transcending traditional photography: androgynous spiritual creation becoming vessel for immaculate fantasy, subject losing individual identity to embody pure archetype from collective imagination. The work invites viewers into imaginative world where fantastical dreamy character exists as immaculate being, story materializing through carefully constructed photographic scenario.

  • Léa Bon is an androgynous fashion and art photographer, with a unique, personal and spiritual body of work. Dreams and fantasies from the past and present are portrayed by Léa Bon’s subjects, which she uses as her own personal dolls. At a young age, Léa Bon found in photography the means by which she could construct her own small worlds using her imagination. Her work breaks with the stereotypes of traditional photography and goes beyond the human eye; it is a fusion between art, fashion, and humanity, evoking surrealism, expressionism, and hyperrealism. She has done multiple exhibitions about her life, among them “First Cycle-Innocent Vision”, composed of 25 works of art that portray her personal journey. Her photographs have been published in numerous fashion and art magazines around the world.
