Infrahumana presents inhuman entity photography where subject becomes "infrahumana" (inhuman/subhuman)—being existing below or beyond human realm within Bon's meticulously constructed imaginative world. This color work portrays subject as personal doll embodying fantastical creature from diverse tales: perhaps demon, monster, feral entity, or otherworldly being taking physical form through costume, makeup, staging. The photography fuses surrealism (human transformed into inhuman), expressionism (creature intensity), hyperrealism (meticulous detail of non-human features), representing dreams and fantasies where past mythological entities meet present photographic expression. Infrahumana demonstrates Bon's method of using subjects as vessels: androgynous spiritual creation becoming inhuman character transcending conventional human representation. The work invites viewers into dreamscape where fantastical dreamy beings exist beyond human categorization, infrahumana suggesting that fantasy realms contain entities operating outside human moral/physical frameworks, story materializing through carefully constructed photographic scenario portraying character from Bon's personal tale lexicon.

Dreams and fantasies from the past and present are portrayed by Léa Bon’s subjects, which she uses as her own personal dolls.

  • Léa Bon is an androgynous fashion and art photographer, with a unique, personal and spiritual body of work. Dreams and fantasies from the past and present are portrayed by Léa Bon’s subjects, which she uses as her own personal dolls. At a young age, Léa Bon found in photography the means by which she could construct her own small worlds using her imagination. Her work breaks with the stereotypes of traditional photography and goes beyond the human eye; it is a fusion between art, fashion, and humanity, evoking surrealism, expressionism, and hyperrealism. She has done multiple exhibitions about her life, among them “First Cycle-Innocent Vision”, composed of 25 works of art that portray her personal journey. Her photographs have been published in numerous fashion and art magazines around the world.
