Masterfully challenges traditional academic layouts by shifting sacred structural forms into a multi-layered biomorphic statement within the field of avant-garde acrylic canvas painting. Part of Neerja Chandna Peters’s critically acclaimed The Self series, this unique physical creation treats a premium canvas substrate as an analytical laboratory for spatial dynamics, letting thick acrylic pigments, directional shading, and strict proportions converge to map the inner human consciousness. The symmetrical arrangement tracks an intense graphic rhythm where a centralized rings and diamond shapes split the frame, transforming the interaction between representative constraints and absolute artistic freedom into an undeniable architectural gravity that echoes the meditative, hazy qualities of a sacred mandala.

Realising the consciousness or Self is realising the Universe and its Source. Connecting with this light within is also then a path of connecting with the Source.

The Self series of works celebrates this connection with the Self.
