Bosque Tropical Húmedo Nuquí presents humid tropical forest documentation where dense coastal rainforest reveals Colombia's Pacific region biodiversity through documentary lens capturing nature's essence. Winograd photographs Nuquí's overwhelming vegetation density—trees, vines, moisture creating interconnected web representing relationship between environment and inhabitants who depend on forest's health. The work explores social conflict narratives embedded in tropical forests: logging pressures versus conservation, indigenous knowledge versus development interests. This photograph generates contemplative emotions about humid tropical ecosystems' fragility and importance, suggesting that documenting these forests means witnessing environmental wealth requiring protection while acknowledging human communities' complex relationships with landscape they inhabit, cultivate and sometimes threaten through economic pressures creating overlapping environmental-social crises.

Miguel Winograd's work explores the relationship between people and their environment, narratives of social conflict, and the dense interconnections of the Colombian landscape. His Landscape photography, which occasionally includes portraits of trees, captures the essence of nature through a documentary lens.

This limited edition work is available in two  archival formats: PIGMENT PRINT, offering breathtaking color depth and detail on museum-grade paper, and  SELENIUM TONED GELATIN SILVER PRINT, a traditional darkroom process known for its rich tonal range and unparalleled longevity. Each piece is offered in various sizes to complement your space.
