Sol Mallorca presents solar maritime photography where sunlight transforms ocean surface—creating different yet equally monumental encounter than lunar reflections, revealing how celestial light alters sea's appearance while maintaining its essential vastness. Winograd's documentary lens captures diurnal sublime: sun's interaction with water generating contemplative emotions through luminosity contrasting with moonrise series' darkness. This reverential work extends Mares investigation to daytime maritime phenomena, suggesting that documenting nature's essence requires witnessing both solar and lunar relationships with oceanic infinity. The composition remains impossible to ignore, offering meditation on how different celestial bodies reveal varied aspects of sea's fundamental mysterious character.
Miguel Winograd's work explores the relationship between people and their environment, narratives of social conflict, and the dense interconnections of the Colombian landscape. His work, which occasionally includes portraits of trees, captures the essence of nature through a documentary lens.
