Utilizing the structural precision of his architectural background, Rodrigo Spinel carefully reinterprets the landmark cover of Action Comics No. 1 in 3.2 M Action Comics. Rendered in Chinese ink on 250 g Fabriano paper, the piece interrogates how disposable pop cultural ephemera from 1938 evolved into a high-stakes financial asset. The subtle "3.2" badge encapsulates record-breaking auction valuations, challenging institutional boundaries between mass print and fine art. This original fine art collectible drawing expands the central dialogue of the Currency series, offering a sophisticated critique on the relativity of economic worth and contemporary collecting behavior.

As a reflection on the value we give to objects, this series exposes examples of objects that we use daily and for different reasons ended up gaining very high prices. By redrawing them the idea is to generate a conversation about what we consider valuable to ourselves, and how thats a very relative concept.
